The facelifted Maruti XL6 will be unveiled on April 21

The facelift avatar of Maruti XL6 will be launched in India on 21 April 2022. In view of the interest of the people in the car, some dealers have already started unofficial bookings. This Nexa MPV will get many cosmetic updates, an updated powertrain, and more safety features than before.

The 2022 Maruti XL6 was spotted testing sometime back. In this, new sporty alloy wheels, a new grille, and more new exterior color options can be given. The bumpers, lights, and body style may remain the same. For information, let us tell you that this is the only crossover-style premium version of Ertiga.

The cabin could also get some minor updates and it could get a new interior shade and new upholstery for the 6-seat layout. Some new features can also be given in the facelift XL6 which will include a 9.0-inch Smartplay Pro Plus touchscreen infotainment system same as the Baleno with limited remote vehicle operation and a 360-degree camera etc. For safety, it will be provided with six airbags while dual-airbags are standard in its current model.

The current model offers features like automatic AC, cruise control, full LED lights (automatic headlamps), an electronic stability program with hill hold assist 9AT only) and a rear parking camera, which will continue to be available in the facelift model as well.

The 2022 XL6 will be powered by the latest version of the 1.5-liter K-series Dual VVT petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. After the upgrade, its power output is also expected to be better than before. Along with the engine, it will be given a 5-speed manual gearbox as before, while the 4-speed automatic transmission will be replaced by a new 6-speed automatic gearbox (with paddle shifter).

Currently, the Maruti XL6 is priced between Rs 10.14 lakh and Rs 12.02 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while the facelifted version could be slightly more expensive. This Maruti car will be compared to Kia Carens.
