Price hike of Tata Nexon Electric, increased by up to Rs 25,000

The increase has been applied to all versions of the electric SUV, including the Dark version.

Tata has increased the price of Nexon Electric. The prices of all variants of this electric SUV have increased by Rs 25,000.

The price of all variants of this electric sub-4 meter SUV has increased by Rs 25,000. The price of the dark variant of Nexon EV has also increased.

 

Apart from this, there has been no other change in this SUV. Tata has provided an electric motor with a 30.2 kWh battery pack in the Nexon EV, which has a power output of 129 Ps and 245 Nm. According to ARAI, this vehicle can cover a distance of 312 Km on a full charge. The company is also working on updating the EV, which has been spotted testing several times with newly designed alloy wheels and rear disc brakes. It is expected that the updated electric SUV can be given a bigger battery pack and more powerful electric motor, due to which its range can be increased.

 

The updated Nexon  EV can be priced higher than the current model (new price). This electric sub-4 meter SUV from Tata will compete with the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 Electric and upcoming MG electric car that will be priced below Rs 15 lakh. It is a much more affordable option than the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric.
