New generation KTM RC 125 launched in India, priced at Rs 1.82 lakh

The new KTM RC125 is powered by the same 124.71 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the current model, which develops 15 HP of power and 12 Nm of torque.

Austria's renowned two-wheeler maker KTM recently unveiled the new generation of three motorcycles from its RC range, namely RC390, RC200, AND RC125. Now the company has launched RC 200 and RC 125 in India. The company has fixed the price of RS 125 at Rs 1.82 lakh (ex-showroom).

With the launch, the new KTM RC125 motorcycle has started arriving at the brand's official dealerships and booking has also started. Buyers can bring this new motorcycle home during the festival season with a special offer with a down payment of Rs 24,000 and attractive finance schemes. The company will start the deliveries of the motorcycle in a few days.

The new RC125 has a shorter length as compared to its outgoing version. That is, earlier it was 1,977 mm, but now it has become 1,965 mm. Although its wheelbase was 1,341 mm earlier, which has now increased to 1,347 mm. The new generation RC 125 bike gets a new styling as compared to the existing range and another major change is the new frame.

The new generation RC series has been developed with a split-trellis frame with a bolt-on subframe at the rear, similar to the existing Duke series. The bike also gets slightly raised clip-on handlebars and center set footpegs. It has been given a new LCD instrument cluster.

WP Apex large piston front forks, rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels, all-new LCD dash display, all-new halogen headlamps, new ABS with supermoto mode, and a 13.7-liter fuel tank are among the motorcycle's other features. Although with the new generation, there has been no change in the engine of the motorcycle even after a massive change in design features.

The new KTM RC125 bike is powered by a 124.71 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 15 HP of power at 9250 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm. The engine comes with a 6-speed transmission. However, there is a quick-shifter being offered to keep the cost of the Indian spec model down.
