Bajaj Auto is constantly updating its popular Pulsar range with the launch of the Pulsar 180 and the brand new Pulsar 125 NS a few months back. Apart from this, the company has also updated its existing Pulsar range with some new color options. If reports are to be believed, the company is gearing up for its next biggest launch under the Pulsar range in the festive season.

In fact, Bajaj Auto is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the launch of its Pulsar brand in November, and to make the occasion special, the company may launch the most powerful motorcycle ever in its Pulsar range. In fact, in the past few months, two bikes from the Pulsar rage have been spotted testing in India on several occasions, giving rise to these possibilities, and are currently being called Pulsar NS250 and Pulsar 250F.

Also, a few months back, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto has revealed that the brand will launch the biggest motorcycle in the range this November on the 20th anniversary of Pulsar. the day marks the launch of a new platform from the Pulsar range, which will be used for future products as well. He had also said that the company plans to focus on an electric transition apart from the new Pulsar bike.

If reports are to be believed, both these 250 cc motorcycles will be powered by a 250 cc, oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that can develop 28 Ps of power and 20 Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-speed constant mesh transmission. This engine in the Pulsar range will be completely different than the liquid-cooled motor of the Dominar 250.

If we go by the images seen during testing, the Bajaj Pulsar NS250 quarter liter naked motorcycle will use a projector headlamp, LED DRLs as well as a new instrument cluster, which is likely to be a fully digital unit. Bluetooth connectivity is expected to be offered with the bike and the fuel tank design is as familiar as other Pulsar bikes.

Coming to the Pulsar 250F, on the other hand, the fuel tank and headlamp cowl seem to be used on the NS250, while it also gets clip-on handlebars and fairing-mounted rearview mirrors. The grab rail of this bike is also similar to that of the NS250, while its LED tail lamp could be new. The bike can also share many of its features with the NS250.

As far as the price is concerned, it is expected that the company may offer the new pulsar 250 range with a very aggressive price tag against other motorcycles, which could be around Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched in India, the Pulsar 250 range will compete with motorcycles like Suzuki Gixxer 250 range, the KTM 250 range, and the Yamaha FZ25.
