Hyundai Indonesia has released the design sketches of the facelift Creta. This SUV is going to get a mid-life update soon and it will see many cosmetic changes. Also, many new features can also be included in it.

A glimpse of its front profile can be seen in the sketch. Its front profile will be inspired by the Hyundai Tucson. The facelifted Creta gets a new parametric jewel pattern front grille with LED DRLs. Apart from this, new stacked headlamps and a new front bumper have also been given in it.

The changes on the side profile of this vehicle are not known by looking at the sketch, but it is expected that new design alloy wheels can be seen in this vehicle. The taillights on the rear side look similar to the pre-facelift model, but it hasn't been connected by the strip on the boot.

Looking at the design sketch of the cabin of the new Creta, it seems that its styling can be kept similar to the current model, although new seat upholstery can definitely be given in it. The upcoming car is expected to come with a host of Alcazar features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring.

The SUV is expected to feature the same 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as the current model, Android Auto, and Apple Carplay, panoramic sunroof, connected car technology, ventilated front seats, electrically adjustable driver seat, and Bose sound system. For passenger safety, it can get features like six airbags, a rear parking camera, electronic stability control (ESC), rear disc brake and hill start assist control.

The upcoming facelift Creta in India may continue to get the same engine as the current model. Currently, the Creta is offered with 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine (115 Ps) and a 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine (140 Ps). It comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard with petrol and diesel engines. Apart from this, it also gets the option of CVT and 6-speed AT with petrol and diesel engine respectively. At the same time, 7-speed DCT has been given standard with its turbo petrol engine. It is speculated that the company can also offer an iMT (clutchless manual) gearbox with the 1.5-liter petrol variant.

Hyundai Creta facelift can be launched in the Indonesian market by the end of this year. At the same time, it will be launched in India by 2022. It is expected that the price of the facelift version can be kept higher than the regular model. Currently, the price of Creta is in the range of Rs 10.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In the segment, this SUV competes with Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
