Facelift Hyundai Creta spotted during testing, its design is similar to the new Tucson

The facelifted Creta will feature a completely new front fascia.

The front end has been revealed in new spy photos, indicating that it is based on the new Tucson.

The facelifted Creta, according to spy images, has a new grille, redesigned front bumper, and new headlight and fog lamp housing.

  The rear profile, as well as the cabin, are slated to undergo changes, with the latter receiving some feature additions.

The 140 Ps 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines should remain available, as they did previously.

The facelifted model of the Hyundai Creta has been spotted testing in Indonesia. It has been revealed from the testing model that there will be many cosmetic updates in it. Facelift Creta SUV can be launched in India by 2022.

Its front design is inspired by the new Tucson, which was launched in Indonesia in 2020. The facelifted Creta will get a new grille, new bumpers, new headlamps and fog lamps and faux skid plates. There has been no change in its alloy wheels.

There will also be no change in its rear profile, although some updates can be seen in the bumpers and tail design here. The interiors of the upcoming Hyundai car are yet to be revealed, although we believe that the company will update the interiors as well and may include some new features in it.

The engine specifications are not likely to change. Currently, The Hyundai Creta is available in three engine options: 140Ps 1.4-litre turbo petrol, 115Ps 1.5-litre petrol and diesel. It gets a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard with petrol and diesel engines, while the choice of CVT and 6-speed automatic gearbox has also been kept with them respectively. A 7-speed DCT gearbox is standard with its turbo petrol engine.

Facelift Hyundai Creta can be launched in India by the end of 2022. Currently, the price of this Hyundai car is in the range of Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It competes with the Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq and Nissan kicks in the segment. Soon the entry of the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun is also going to be in its competition.
