Kia Motors India has released a new product teaser, pointing to a special edition of the company's popular SUV, the Kia Seltos. This mid-size SUV has been on sale in India since August 2019 and sells better for the company, with its stunning features, strong look playing the most important role.

Although its sales have declined after the launch of second-generation Creta in India but it is still the second best selling SUV of its segment. Hence, the company is planning a new strategy for its SUV and it is possible to introduce a new edition, for which a teaser has recently been released.

An Apple and Book have been placed in the teaser image shared on social media channels by Kia Motors India and written with it, "The One Who Asked" why", that means for him who asked why. The teaser image refers to Newton's Gravity Law and thus the company has teased the Seltos Gravity Edition.

Last year, the company introduced it in the Korean market. The Kia Seltos Gravity Edition features a new chrome-studded grille, new 18-inch dual-colour alloy wheels, contrast colour ORVM and revised skid plates at the rear. Only the grey colour scheme is introduced in the interior. According to sources, for the first time, a new logo of Kia can be installed in this vehicle.

Currently, the Seltos can be purchased with a smaller sunroof but the updated edition is expected to get a panoramic sunroof like the Hyundai Creta. However, no change in the powertrain is expected. The Seltos Gravity Edition will be provided with a 1.5-litre petrol (115 Ps and 144 Nm), 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 Ps and 250 Nm) and 1.4-litre turbo petrol (140 Ps and 242 Nm).
