MG Motors launched the ZS EV electric SUV in early 2020 and now tomorrow the company is going to give it a new update.

The new MG ZS EV will get a better battery pack than before. It is being speculated that the company will offer features such as Hinglish voice command and 360-degree camera in this new electric car. Its design changes are unlikely.

The ZS EV has features like an electric parking brake, hill start/descent assist, TPMS, adjustable driver seat, rain-sensing wipers, three-level regeneration braking, cruise control, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Currently, the ZS EV is powered by a 44.4 kWh electric motor that produces 143 Ps of power and 353 Nm of torque. It has a single-speed transmission. This electric car can travel 340 km in full charge. It takes 8.5 seconds to achieve a speed of 0 to 100 kilometres per hour. It takes just 50 minutes for its battery to 80 per cent charged with a fast charger. At the same time, it takes 6 to 8 hours to be fully charged with the normal AC charger.

The MG ZS Electric has currently priced between Rs 20.88 lakh and Rs 23.58 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Its updated model may be slightly more expensive than the current model. Its competition in the segment is from Hyundai Kona Electric. Currently Tata Nexon Electric is India's cheapest electric car with long-range.
