Price of Tata Nexon Electric goes up by Rs 15,000

This is the second price increase since the launch of the Nexon EV in January 2020.

Nexon Electric is available in three variants XM, XZ Plus and XZ Plus LUX.

Its base model is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata has increased the price of mid variant XZ Plus and top model XZ Plus LUX by Rs 15,000.

The price of Nexon Electric is between Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Motors increased the price of its cars a few days ago, except Nexon Electric. Now the company has also increased the price of Nexon Electric. The company has increased the price of this car by Rs 15,000.

The company has not made any changes in the price of its base model XM. Its price is only 13.99 lakh rupees as before. The price of its mid variants XZ Plus and top model XZ Plus LUX has increased by Rs 15,000. Tata Nexon Electric is the cheapest long-range electric car in India.

Tata Nexon EV has a 30.2 kWh battery pack with an electric motor. The electric motor in it produces 129 Ps of power and 245 Nm of torque. Its battery takes 60 minutes to charge 0 to 80 per cent with a DC fast charger. At the same time, with a 3.3 kW AC home charger, it can be fully charged in 8 hours. Drive and sport are two driving modes in Nexon Electric.

Customers can also take this Tata Electric car on a monthly subscription basis for 12 to 36 months. However, its mid variant XZ Plus can only be taken on subscription. Tata Motors has tied up with ORIX India to offer their cars on a monthly subscription. Apart from the Nexon EV, there are also long-range electric cars in India like the MG ZS EV (Rs 20.88 lakh to Rs 23.58 lakh), Hyundai Kona Electric (Rs 23.75 lakh to Rs 23.94 lakh) and Mercedes Benz EQC (Rs 1.04 crore). Be on Electric's will soon get Mahindra's XUV300 Electric in its competition, this SUV can be launched by mid-2021.
