Tata reduced subscription rates of Nexon EV for limited time

Discounted subscription rates for tenured of 2 and 3 years only, although tenure rates of 12 months have been substantially revised to.

The electric version of Tata Nexon was launched in January 2020. The company says that since then 2000 units of this vehicle have been sold. The Nexon EV price in India starts at Rs. 13.99 lakh and it's mid variant XZ Plus is available on a subscription basis. Tata Motors has again reduced the subscription rate of Nexon EV. The changed price is as follows:

The prices we have mentioned above is valid for Delhi NCR and these may vary from city to city. These rates are for those customers who want to subscribe to the Nexon EV with a mileage limit option of 1500 km per month. While Tata is also offering 2000 km and 2500 km per month limits. Currently, these rates are applicable for a limited time only, including tax. While the subscription rates for 24 and 36 months have been reduced by Rs 5900 and Rs 5400 respectively. The 12-month subscription rate has also been reduced by up to Rs. 7000 but this option is still expensive.

Leasing this Tata electric car as before will also provide customers with comprehensive insurance coverage, roadside assistance, periodic servicing, doorstep delivery and charger installation at home or office. Once the lease period is over, the customer can either close it or get it extended. With this, they can also buy this car if they want.

This 5-seater electric SUV is powered by an electric motor that is capable of generating 129 Ps of power and 245 Nm of torque. It also has two drive modes: Drive and Sport. It has a 30.2 kW hour battery pack which after full charge, this SUV can travel up to 312 km. According to Tata, this EV takes 8.5 hours to charge from 10 to 90 per cent through a charging point of 15 amperes. At the same time, it can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in 1 hour through DC fast charging.

Nexon EV

Currently, Tata Nexon is the only electric vehicle available in India on a lease basis. It is also the most affordable electric car in the country with a single charge range of 300 km and it's price ranges from Rs. 13.99 lakh to Rs. 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Other long-range electric cars available in India list includes Hyundai Kona Electric with prices ranging from Rs. 23.75 lakh to Rs. 23.94 lakh, MG ZS EV (Rs. 20.88 lakh to Rs. 23.58 lakh) and Mercedes Benz EQC (Rs. 99.30 lakh). In the coming time, Tata's electric sub-4 meter SUV will compete directly with the Mahindra XUV300 electric which is expected to be launched in 2021.
