Nissan Magnite has been launched in India. Its price starts at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the cheapest car in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment. This compact SUV is available in a total of five variants XE, XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O). The company has already shared the information about the tech pack found with the car. • Styling Pack

This 5-seater car gets a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine ( 72 Ps/ 96 Nm) which also does duty on Renault Triber and a new 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. In terms of power transmission, only a 5-speed MT gearbox is provided with its naturally aspirate petrol engine. At the same time, with its 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, both 5-speed MT and CVT are available. Turbo petrol engine generates a power of 100 Ps and torque of 160 Nm. At the same time, the same engine with the CVT gearbox generates a torque of 152 Nm.
The Price of Nissan Magnite in India is between Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom). In the segment, it competes with Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford Ecosport and the upcoming Renault Kiger.
