MG Motors India launched its first electric SUV MG ZS EV in India in January this year, with prices starting at Rs 20.88 lakh (ex-showroom). Now this car manufacturer is preparing to introduce the petrol-powered version of this model in India.

According to a report, it has been confirmed that Morris Garage will launch MG ZS petrol in the Indian market in the first half of the year 2021, although it has been spied during testing in India many times. After its launch in India, the 2021 MG ZS petrol SUV will compete with cars like the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks.

MG takes parts of the ZS EV from China and assembles the knock-down kit at the Halol Plant in Gujarat and likely the same strategy will be followed for MG ZS petrol. The company had already started looking for parts suppliers for this.
