MG Hector Plus 7 seater will be launched in India in January 2021

It would certainly be more economical than the Hector Plus 6-seater.

Highlights:

MG Hector Plus is a three-row version of the regular Hector SUV.

The 6-seater Hector was launched in July with captain seats in the middle row.

Now the company will give a bench seat in its middle row.

The price of 7-seater Hector Plus can be less than the 6-seater version.

MG Motors launched the three-row version of the Hector SUV in July 2020. It is 6-seater SUV with captain seats in the middle row. Soon the company will also bring its 7 seater version, it has been learned that it will be launched in India in January 2021.

MG Hector Plus

The MG Hector Plus gets the same features as regular Hector SUV, including a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control and power tailgate. In its 7 seater version, bench seats will be given in place of captain seats in the middle row.

MG Hector Plus engine

In this upcoming SUV, the option of regular model's 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engine will be given. It will also get a 48-watt mild-hybrid system option with a turbo engine. As with all engines, a 6-speed manual gearbox will be standard while a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox will also be optioned with a non-hybrid turbo engine.

MG Hector Plus

It is speculated that the 7 seaters Hector Plus can be offered in the same variants with the 6 seater version. However, it may be slightly cheaper than the 6-seater Hector Plus, which is priced between Rs 13.49 lakh and Rs 18.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

MG Hector Plus

The MG Hector Plus 7 seater car will be compared to the Mahindra XUV500, the upcoming Tata Gravitas and the BS6 Hexa.
