Mahindra Thar's new official accessories list released

Now available with a few additional add-ons, some beneficial and some just cosmetic.

Every customer wants to make Mahindra Thar something special according to him. In such a situation, the company has also offered several official accessories with the new Thar, some of which are functional and some are esthetic. Now the company has released a list of new accessories for this car so that customers will be able to improve their Thar more than before.

Accessories such as exterior cosmetic kits, alloy wheels, side steps, extra cladding, different types of floor mats and seat cover designs are already available with the Thar 2020. As a feature update, it also offers a mounting kit for audio systems and speaker, additional steps and trays and many premium audio options. Accessories like adventure tent kits, winch, air compressor, straps and many other tools are also kept for adventure enthusiasts.

Currently, Mahindra Thar is only available in two variants AX(O) and LX variants. It comes with four-wheel-drive and convertible soft top and fixed hardtop option. Its top variants have features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control and electric operated AC.

This SUV has a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and 2.2-litre diesel engine. In terms of power transmission, both these engines get 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. Its more affordable AX standard and AX variants were also launched in India, but the company is not currently taking orders for these variants. Mahindra recently announced that it will soon after the option of front-facing rear seats rather than jump seats in lower variants of Thar.

With the launch, the new Thar has become very popular due to which its waiting period has been extended till May 2021. If you are still thinking of choosing another variant, then for this you will have to spend between Rs 11.90 lakh to Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom). Its price may also increase soon. It does not compete directly with any car in the segment. Soon the competition will see the entry of upcoming cars like BS6 Force Gurkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
