It has a new grille and a new rear bumper. The company has added third-row seating space without increasing its wheelbase. However, there are discussions that the company may increase its rear proportions to better accommodate the seating space in the third row and give it a sloppy roofline. In the testing model, only the new tail lamps have been seen as a rear-end change.

It is speculated that the 7-seater Creta, like the regular 5-seater Creta, may feature digital driver displays, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats and a bose sound system. Hyundai can also offer captain seats in the middle row of its upcoming car.

This 7-seater car from Hyundai in India can be offered with 1.5-litre diesel engine ( 115 Ps/ 250 Nm) and 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine (140 Ps/ 242 Nm) with regular Creta. With both the engines, a 6-speed manual gearbox can be given as standard. A 6-speed torque converter with the diesel engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with petrol engine can also be optioned. The regular Creta also has the option of a 1.5-litre petrol engine (115 Ps/ 144 Nm), although this engine is unlikely to be offered in the larger Creta SUV.

The price of 7 seater Hyundai Creta in India can be around one lakh rupees more than the regular Creta. The 5-seater Hyundai Creta has currently priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 17.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In the segment, this upcoming car will be compared to MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV500 and the upcoming Tata Gravitas.
