Jeep is working on bringing its iconic compass SUV facelift version to the Indian market. Compared to the current model, the latest Jeep Compass facelift will feature a range of major changes in terms of design, interior cabin space and features.

Currently, the company has been road testing of facelift models in India for a long time. Recently, this SUV has been spotted during testing in Pune.

According to the information, cosmetic updates can be seen in the Jeep Compass facelift, the company is not making any changes to the engine of the SUV.

The 7 slot grille in the Jeep Compass facelift can be modified, according to the details. Along with this, LED fog lamps, new alloy wheels, new colour options, dual-tip exhaust can be given.

Talking about the interior, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system can be given in the SUV. It will be updated with the latest U connect 5 technology. Its infotainment system will come with Apply Carplay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa connectivity.

In India, Jeep Compass is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol model features a 1.4-litre turbo petrol BS6 engine that produces 161 bhp of power and 250 of torque.

The diesel model is powered by a 2.0-litre BS6 diesel engine, this engine produces 170 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The Tata Harrier and MG Hector both uses the same engine. Both of these are the Jeep Compass main rival vehicles.
