A 9-speaker JBL sound system can also be given in this upcoming SUV. At the same time, features such as ambient lighting, kick-to-open powered tailgate, wireless charging pad and 360-degree parking camera can be given in its top variants. It is estimated that the company may also include a connected car technology in its feature list.

No change in engine option

The facelift Toyota Fortuner SUV can be offered with the same 2.7-litre petrol and 2.8-litre diesel (updated) engine options as the current model. With both engines, it can be offered with manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. Its 2.7-litre petrol engine is capable of generating 166 Ps of power and 245 Nm of torque. It only has a 2-wheel-drive option with a petrol engine. At the same time, with the diesel engine, it offers 2-wheel-drive and 4-wheel-drive options. The power output of this engine is 204 ps and 500 Nm.

More price

The Toyota Fortuner facelift 2021 can be priced higher than the current model due to new updates. Currently, the Fortuner has priced between Rs 28.66 lakh and Rs 34.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Toyota Fortuner SUV will compete with the Ford Endeavour and recently launched MG Gloster SUV.
