It not only receives aesthetically pleasing updates, but also a functional feature addition.

It has been a year since Seltos was launched in India. To celebrate the first anniversary of this compact SUV which was become popular in India, the company has launched its Anniversary Edition. The price of this special edition has been kept from Rs 13.75 lakh to Rs 14.85 lakh ( Ex-showroom, pan India ). This edition is based on the Seltos second-to-top model HTX of the SUVs HT Line trim.
Like the regular HTX variant, the Anniversary Edition is available only in 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. If you want an automatic gearbox in it then you will get a CVT unit with the only 1.5-litre petrol engine. But unlike the regular HTX variants, remote engine start has been introduced through the key fob for both manual and automatic models of the Anniversary Edition. Earlier this feature was only available in the automatic version of the HTX Plus variant. Let's look at its price:
Powertrain | Price | Premium over corresponding HTX variant |
---|---|---|
1.5-liter Petrol Manual |
Rs. 13.75 Lakh |
Rs 41,000 |
1.5-liter Petrol Automatic |
Rs 14.75 Lakh |
Rs 41,000 |
1.5-litre Diesel Manual |
Rs 14.85 Lakh |
Rs 41,000 |
A new silver cladding with tangerine inserts and the Seltos moniker on top is now available on the side of Seltos. Although, in our opinion, the best aesthetic upgrade is the latest 17-inch raven black coloured alloy wheels. Apart from this, this edition of Kia Seltos has new quilted seat design with leatherette finish that matches well with the all-black cabin. Explain that the dual-tone theme has been given in the cabin of regular HTX variants.
To make the Seltos anniversary edition look different, the company has introduced three dual-tone colour schemes: Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl, Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl and Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl. It will also be available only in Aurora Black pearl shade.
We like the Seltos's anniversary edition over the GT Line variant, but sadly only 6000 units have been produced. If you like this too, then book it quickly.
