The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe car has been launched in India. Its price starts from Rs. 39.30 lakh and goes up to Rs. 41.20 lakh ( top variant ). This small BMW sedan car is currently only available with a diesel engine. Petrol engine option will be included after some time. This car is available in two variants. The price of its variant has been kept as follow:

BMW has revealed that this is its introductory prices. The styling and design of this car are inspired by the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe car. It comes in a 4-door configuration and has a sliding roofline like a coupe car. The interior of this vehicle has been specially designed keeping in mind the driver. Compared to the front, it does not get enough space on the rear side.
The coupe car is currently offered only with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This engine is capable of generating 190 Ps of power and 400 Nm of torque. All this power is sent through an 8-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels and can make the car sprint in 7.5 seconds from 0-100 kph. The company has also given launch control and driving modes Eco, Pro, Comfort and sport with this car.
Talking about the features, it has 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging, wireless Apple Carplay, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, BMW gesture control. It also has a reversing assistant feature that will help guide the steering.
In terms of passenger safety, it offers safety features such as six airbags, brake assist with ABS, dynamic traction control, electronic differential lock control, corner braking control and ISOFIX mounts.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe car in India will be compared to the upcoming Mercedes Benz A-Class sedan ( Booking open ) and Audi A3.
