Hyundai Motors India teased the official sketches of their upcoming second-gen Creta which they will showcase at the upcoming Autoexpo 2020. After the release of official sketches of Hyundai Creta Hyundai motos also stated that the will unveil the car at Autoexpo on 6 February at 1.30 PM.

If we look at the official sketch it is clear that second-gen Hyundai Creta looks way similar to ix25 which is its Chinese counterpart. Second-gen Hyundai Creta will feature Hyundai's new sensuous 2.0 design language that we first saw in Hyundai Venue. But as compared to ix25 Creta will get a different front grill as seen in the sketch which will look similar to Hyundai Venue's cascading grille.

In terms of styling, Second-gen Creta will get LED DRL's which will be positioned above the projector headlamps just like the second-gen ix25. If we talk about the back rear to seems similar to the ix25 with LED lights replicate the DRL'S in front. Side profile of second-gen Hyundai Creta looks boxy and muscular with black cladding along the sides, squarish wheels arches and raked C-pillar that flows into the back of the car which is also similar to ix25. if we say about exterior styling there is not much difference between ix25 and Creta just the front grille design which is changed for India.

Hyundai Motors will only showcase the exterior design of the second-gen Creta 2020 on 6 February 2020 with the interior being blacked out just like they did when they unveil Aura sub-4-meter compact sedan. Interior details for the second-gen Creta will be released when it will be close to market launch which is confirmed in mid-march 2020. But second-gen Creta is expected to get panoramic sunroof with a 10.25-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system, automatic parking brakes, connected car tech just like its Chinese counterpart Hyundai ix25.
In terms of engine options, Second-gen Hyundai Creta will share its bs6 powertrain options with Kia seltos. It will be available with three engine option 1.5-liter petrol, a 1.5-liter diesel engine along with Kia seltos 1.4-liter turbo petrol. The 1.5-liter petrol engine will get a CVT gearbox, a 1.5-liter diesel engine will get a 6-speed torque converter unit and 1.4 liters turbo petrol unit will come with a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Hyundai will launch the second-gen Creta as five-seater SUV upon launch but earlier reports have suggested that Hyundai also intends to bring the seven-seater version of Creta in the future to take on the competitors like the upcoming Tata gravitas and MG Hector 6 seater. The seven-seater version of Creta will have similar architecture just like the five-seater but will have additional third-row seating.
Hyundai motors are expected to price second-gen Creta around the same as Kia seltos. And it is expected to offer with a starting price of Rs 10 lakh and goes all they up to Rs 17 lakh for the top-spec variant. After the launch of second-gen Hyundai Creta, it will continue to fight with popular rival and some upcoming rivals like the Kia seltos, Nissan kicks, Maruti Suzuki s-cross, Renault capture, and Renault Duster. The upcoming compact SUV from Volkswagen and Skoda compact SUV which will compete with second-gen Creta from early 2021.
